THE NEW HEART OF LOS ANGELES!!

Hollywood is not only the center of the entertainment industry, but it is now the center of nightlife, dining, shopping and more. I am very happy to be working at Nourmand and Assoc., the ONLY real estate company with an office in this exciting area. Because of our location and contacts with the community, we can offer both buyers and sellers more services in Hollywood than any other company, with up-to-the-minute news on listings and new loft projects. For sellers, we can offer the convenience of being the only company in the area and we can offer the best target-marketing for their properties.

Ever since the Hollywood and Highland shopping complex ushered in the revitalization of Hollywood approximately 10 years ago, this part of LA has become the epicenter of the city. Since then, the gentrification has moved east all the way to Vine Street. There are currently several new loft complexes near Hollywood and Vine, with more to come. The exclusive W Hotel on Vine Street will be completed soon. Also near Sunset and Vine is the The Gatsby Hollywood complex – a community of solar-powered eco-friendly detached homes currently being built on Wilcox Avenue, south of Sunset Blvd – prices start at $800,000. At the other end of Hollywood, at Hollywood Blvd. and La Brea Ave., there is the Madrone loft complex with units ranging from $500,000 to $2 Million.

Compared with areas west of La Brea Ave., Hollywood is still vastly undervalued. Considering the vast development still to be done in this area, it’s a great area to invest in the future. With all the changes that have occurred in the last ten years, imagine what Hollywood is going to be like ten years from now!

New restaurants and clubs are popping up in Hollywood almost weekly. You can get dressed up and enjoy the dramatic supper-club atmosphere of the new Kress and Beso restaurants; or dine in the many smaller cozier cafes, such as Bella Cucina (delicious Italian), the Hollywood Roosevelt’s Dakota (great for steaks), or Kung Pao Kitty (retro/stylish Chinese). And Hollywood has also preserved some of the legendary establishments, like the Pig ‘n’ Whistle, which has been recently refurbished and dates back to the 20′s. Feel like some classic Hollywood? Then you must try the Musso and Frank Grill, the oldest restaurant in Hollywood, dating back to 1919. Cozy up to legendary bartenders Ruben and Manny and sit on the same barstools where F. Scott Fitzgerald, Nathanael West and Charles Bukowski used to drown their sorrows and career disappointments with Musso’s classic cocktails. Ask Ruben about Bukowski and he’ll tell you all about him – Ruben used to listen to his drunken tirades and then drive him home!

Hollywood is the new heart of Los Angeles, so if you are looking in this area, why not choose an agent who is also in the heart of Hollywood? Contact me and I’ll find you the very best place possible!
